How to play CSGuessr
CSGuessr shows you a short Counter-Strike 2 clip. You guess which Premier rating bracket the player is in. The closer your guess, the more you score.
The four steps
- Watch the clip. Every clip is a real player from a CS2 Premier match. Look at how they aim, move and make decisions. Press Space to play or pause.
- Pick a bracket. Click one of the seven brackets under the clip, or press 1 to 7 on your keyboard.
- Lock it in. Press Lock, or Enter. You can change your pick until you lock it.
- See the answer. The real bracket shows after you lock, with the points you won or lost. Press Next clip to go again.
Keyboard shortcuts
- Space plays or pauses the clip.
- 1 to 7 picks a bracket, and the left and right arrows move your pick.
- Enter locks your pick, then moves on to the next clip. N also goes to the next clip.
- S skips a clip before you lock. H and L answer Higher or Lower.

The seven brackets

Scoring in Ranked

| Further off | −30 or −75 |
A miss costs −30, or −75 when it is a long way off. You start at 5,000 CS Rating, and your rating decides your place on the leaderboard.
Ways to play
- Ranked: guess the bracket, one clip after another. The best place to start.
- Daily Draft: the same five clips for everyone, once a day.
- Higher / Lower: is the player above or below the line?
- Hardcore: exact bracket only. One miss ends the run.
- Survival: three lives. How far can you get?
- 1v1 Duel: the same clips, you against a friend.

What you earn
CS Rating is your skill. It moves with every guess and sets your place on the leaderboard.
Tokens are for fun. You earn them by playing and spend them on virtual cases and skins.
Everything is virtual: tokens, cases and skins have no value outside the game, cannot be cashed out and are not real CS2 items. Economy and rewards has the details.
Do I need an account?
No. Your first three Ranked guesses need no name, and they are not saved. After that, pick a guest name (no email address or password) to save your rating and appear on the leaderboard.
