This policy explains the information CSGuessr processes when you use csguessr.com.

Information you provide

• Account information such as username, profile name, password credentials in hashed form, profile bio and optional avatar.
• Third-party sign-in identifiers when you choose supported providers such as Google or Steam.
• CS2 clip submissions, ratings, reports and moderation-related information you submit.

Game and account data

CSGuessr stores data needed to operate your account, including rating, XP, progression, virtual tokens, inventory, settings, submitted clips and moderation/account status.

Optional analytics

If you allow analytics in Privacy Settings, CSGuessr may process a random visitor identifier, session identifier, pages/features used, rounds played, broad referrer information and UTM campaign parameters. The server hashes the visitor identifier before analytics storage. If analytics is disabled, the analytics script does not send these events and clears its local analytics identifiers.

Necessary storage

CSGuessr uses necessary cookies and browser storage for authentication, security, preferences, request protection and core game behavior. These functions cannot be fully disabled while using account features.

Advertising

V32.5 does not load a third-party advertising network. If advertising is introduced, this policy and the consent flow will be updated as needed before ad technology is enabled.

Third-party services

Features may interact with services such as Google, Steam, YouTube and Cloudflare when required for login, video content, hosting, security or delivery. Those services process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Data retention and control

Account and game data is retained while needed to provide the service, maintain security and resolve moderation issues. Available account controls may allow profile editing, sign-out, password changes and account deletion. Some limited records may be retained where necessary for security, abuse prevention or legal obligations.

You can change optional analytics and advertising-storage preferences at any time.
