Submit a clip: let players guess your rank
Every clip in CSGuessr comes from a player. Send in your own gameplay and find out what rating other players think it shows.
How to submit
- Upload the clip to YouTube. Normal videos, Shorts and youtu.be links all work.
- Sign in to CSGuessr, open My clips and choose Submit a clip.
- Paste the link and enter the Premier rating the player had in that match (between 1,000 and 30,000), plus the map. A title and a note are optional.
- Submit. A moderator reviews the clip before it goes into the game.
The rules
- Four minutes at most. Short clips only.
- No livestreams. YouTube livestreams and their replays are blocked.
- No rank spoilers. The video's title and description must not give the rating away.
- Your own gameplay, or footage you have permission to share, with the rating the player really had.
- Each YouTube video can only be submitted once.
What makes a good clip
A normal round tells players more than a highlight. Crosshair placement, movement, utility and decisions are what people read, so a clip that shows a player's habits is easier to judge fairly than a lucky four-kill round. Keep the rating out of view too: no scoreboard, rank icon or overlay that gives it away. Here is what players look for.
After you submit
- The clip waits for review. You can have up to 10 clips waiting at a time.
- Once approved it is played in the game and listed on your public profile, and you get an in-game token reward. Tokens are virtual and have no real-money value.
- If you later change the rating, title or map of an approved clip, it goes back to review.
